Basement Remodeling.

Turning a furnace room/toy storage area into two separate rooms.

My customer uses this room for toy storage.  They wanted a separate room for the furnace for safety reasons.  The walls are getting framed in here.

There are three foundation walls that are getting framed in, too.

The underside of the stairs is framed in and drywalled.

The finished room.  Already filling up with toys.

There are two doors on the furnace room for easy access to the furnace.  The room is vented with a wall grill.

There is a ceiling light under the stairs that is controlled by a wall switch.

They wanted to keep the ceiling beams exposed.  Note the steel post to the left is painted the same as the walls and baseboard.
