This is a walk-out basement.  A rec room with the laundry room separated by sliding doors.  This townhouse is 50 years old and the basement was never updated.  Unfortunately, there are no "before" pictures.
The customer wanted three sliding doors for the laundry room, so I modified the track that that they are hung on.
The walls in this room got new beadboard paneling.  I patched and paintd the ceiling and installed a new ceiling light. The laundry room is on the left.
The same room with a view of the sliding patio doors.
A close-up of the paneling.
I installed new vinyl floor tiles and new baseboard throughout.  The staircase is on the left.
A view of the stairs.  The customer had the stairs carpeted.
Another view of the stairs, at the top landing looking down.  The existing drywall needed extensive patching before being primed and painted.
